New business, designing everything from scratch
Sea Base is a company that organizes diving cruises in Egypt. I work for them since their launch in 2017 as a freelance digital producer & product designer. I am in charge of the digital strategy and creation of the brand's digital experience (website, booking tool, social networks, etc.).

In 2019, I worked on two big projects for Sea Base. The redesign of their website and the creation of their booking and payment platform.

The redesign was a real challenge, we wanted a modern site that sells dreams, while being simple enough to use for people less comfortable with digital (large percentage in the company's target audience).
Booking & payment platform
With 30 clients per cruise and 3 cruises per week, Sea Base needed a platform to automate bookings previously made by email/phone. The platform has 4 main objectives:
- Allow customers to register and have a 3 times payment.
- Automate all time-consuming tasks (reminders, management of remaining seats, informing customers, etc.)
- Simplify access to customer information for teams in Egypt
- Become the company’s CRM
